Carolyn Mager

Insurance Agent

I sincerely love my career.  The people I work with feel like family and many of our clients have become wonderful friends.  I’m an insurance agent who often quips, “I help insure people, not things” (no property or casualty insurance).  I specialize in the health insurance market and especially enjoy educating and assisting others in the Medicare market.  I find great satisfaction when someone leaves our office and lets me know how much we helped with the alphabet soup! Ha!  (Medicare Part A, B, D, etc).

I received my B.S. and M.A. degrees from Minnesota State University, Mankato.  I am a current member and past president of the St. Peter Lions Club and am a St. Peter Chamber Diplomat.  I was thrilled to have received the 2026 Women Celebrating Women award.  This award recognizes and celebrates St. Peter area women who have achieved notable distinction in their profession, proven to be a leader in the community, demonstrate service and commitment to the community and have inspired others.  It was truly such a pleasant surprise and honor.

I reside in beautiful rural Cleveland by Scotch Lake with my family, Ryan and our daughter, Paige.  While I feel like I need twelve of me during the various health open enrollment periods, I am so grateful for the more flexible schedule other times of the year to spend additional time with my family.  When I am not working or trying to keep up with Paige, I enjoy baking, gardening (country living has certainly ignited that passion), and finding a great deal, particularly at garage sales and thrift stores.  Oh, and if you call me on a late Friday afternoon during the summer, I might be answering my cell phone at Valleyfair.  I LOVE all amusement rides!
